Forward Operating Facility

What is A FOrward Operating Facility 

Forward Operating Facilities (FOF) act as a satellite field facility for Mission Beelieve.  Each facility allows us to expand our mission to Service Members and First Responders outside of our immediate area. For registered Mission Beelieve Partners, FOFs offer hands-on training and practical experiences to help participants develop and sustain their beekeeping skills. Each facility will feature a teaching apiary, creating a dynamic environment for immersive learning. They will also host advancement workshops and monthly hive dives, ideally aligned with Mission Beelieve’s Teaching Calendar. These workshops often build upon topics covered in the previous month's meetings, providing a continuous path of growth and education.

GOals with FOF

Our  goal with Forward Operating Facilities (FOFs) is to create opportunities for connection, fostering a sense of community, purpose, and belonging for Service Members, First Responders. These facilities serve as gathering spaces where participants can come together each month to learn, grow, and stay connected through immersive workshops, hive dives, and hands-on training. By providing consistent opportunities for engagement, FOFs help strengthen bonds, promote personal growth, and inspire meaningful environmental stewardship.

Why Start a fof

Starting a Forward Operating Facility (FOF) offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community by fostering connection, growth, and environmental stewardship.
